Sweet Spicy Nut Mix
These are so good, you’ve got to try them!
I absolutely love nuts and they are definitely a staple at my house.
I usually fill them into jars on my kitchen counter for easy access. Some of my favorite nuts are cashew, almonds, walnuts, & Brazil nuts.
Nuts are packed with nutritious goodness, they are a great source of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals and they make a great snack.
The main minerals in Nuts are magnesium, selenium and zinc which help boost immunity. Nuts also help boost your mood due to their rich content of tryptophan-an amino acid that produces our happiness hormone, Serotonin.
A handful of nuts is packed with fiber and protein – making it a great snack that keeps you energized and feeling full for longer.
Sometimes, it’s fun to get playful and add a little oomph, which is what this recipe is all about!
Super easy, it literally takes 20 min from start to finish (including roasting time which basically requires no effort on your side!)
Pick the nuts you like. I like Walnuts and Pecans because they have little crevices where the spices can tuck into & hide.
