My passion for nutrition grew from my own health challenges — bloating, fatigue, low energy, and weight fluctuations.

After countless doctors’ visits and prescriptions that only treated symptoms, I turned to food, lifestyle, and a root-cause approach. It changed everything.

And it’s the same path I now guide my clients through every day.
Over the years, I’ve seen women quietly struggle with bloating, inflammation, fatigue, and discomfort.

I’ve watched them accept low energy as their “normal,” and I’ve seen how misinformation, fads, and restrictive diets create more stress than healing. 

Enter UpCloseAndHealthy, born from a simple mission: to help women reconnect with their bodies, listen to the whispers before they become screams, and embrace realistic, manageable, education-based habits.

I’m here to make nutrition and wellness work in the real world — centered on nourishment, not perfection.

I hold a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics, and I’m a registered dietitian (RD) and certified functional medicine practitioner. Most recently, as I navigate my own midlife shifts, I became a Certified Perimenopause/Menopause Health Coach, deepening my expertise in female hormones and physiology.
